Danelectro '59 12 String Guitar With F-Hole Tobacco Sunburst

The typical sound of a Danelectro 12-string is so distinctive that many bands and musicians from all over the world have used one of these guitars for their studio recordings. While the sound is difficult to characterise due to its unique tone, Danelectros have a bell-like, sparkling and lo-fi twangy sound.

The Danelectro DC59: F-Hole
The biggest determining factor for the sound is the body made of masonite; a kind of material that's formed using high pressure and high temperature. Blessed with a single f-hole and mounted with two Lipstick Alnico single-coils, the high output of the DC59 helps it to effortlessly send crystal-clear, 12-string sound to your amplifier.

Shorthorn Body with Double Cutaway
Since the DC59 has a short-horn body with resonance chambers and two cutaways, each of the 21 frets on the rosewood fretboard can be easily accessed and, in addition to a maple neck, it's fitted with a single volume and tone control, as well as a three-way switch for the pickup selection.
