Pre CBS 1962 Fender Jaguar Black Relic Refinish by MJT Guitars & Hard Case
Here we have for sale is a lovely pre CBS 1962 Fender Jaguar and as you can see it looks fantastic as it has been refinished black relic with matching headstock a few yeas back by MJT guitars in USA and they have confirmed this to us.
All the electronics pickups, pots, caps, switches etc are original and there is some re-soldering on the ground wire and the neck pickup casing which was probably due to it coming loose at some point but other than that we believe everything to be original.
The pickguard has been replaced and there is a little bit of extra imperfect but ok routing at the bridge to make it fit
The frets are original and like anything old could probably to with a refret in the future
The bridge and saddles have been replaced with a 7.25 radius Staytrem, the bridge cover is a ‘60s vintage Fender part and the All Parts Buzz Stop has been added as new.
The Mute works fairly well and has had the foam replaced but I also very rarely use this feature. It locks in pretty well but you may wish to just screw it down fully or remove the foam.
